I brought my brand new 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid here for a routine oil change, and they committed a catastrophic error: They started and ran my engine for several minutes WITHOUT any oil in it. Any mechanic knows that running an engine dry causes immediate internal damage (oil starvation). This is gross negligence that has compromised the life of my engine and my factory warranty. The staff's handling of the situation was unacceptable. Instead of immediately documenting the error and providing a corporate claim number, they tried to downplay the severity of a multi-thousand-dollar mistake. I am currently demanding a full independent inspection at a Toyota dealership and a formal liability claim through Valvoline Corporate. If you value your vehicle and your safety, DO NOT bring your car to this location. Their lack of basic quality control is dangerous. UPDATE (Reply to Owner's Response): Thank you for the response. While I acknowledge that an investigation is pending, it does not change the fact that my vehicle was operated without oil, which is a clear case of gross negligence. I am expecting a full resolution that includes an independent inspection at a certified Toyota dealership and a formal guarantee covering any future engine issues related to this incident. I look forward to a prompt and fair resolution from your corporate team.
