- JCJoe CarusoNov 9, 20251.0My daughter's goes in to get her oil changed on her toyota corolla with a 1.8 and they couldn't get the oil filter house loose because they don't have the right tools. I got the car to my house and removed it with my toyota filter housing socket with no problems it has damaged from there universe oil filter sockets call to find out why they don't have to right tool and how they could damaged many toyota with that filter he lied or is not educated on the topic of oil filter housing tools if you have a toyota with 1.8 or 5.7 I wouldn't let them change my oil. My daughter was very upset about it and I'm not happy at all she paid 100 bucks to have her oil changed and filter and only received damage to her car filter housing and 3/4 of her oil changed it was over filled and that can cause engine failure also. I have 30 years of automotive experience and certifications to back that up. Management should have refunded her money and ask how to get the right tool to make sure this wouldn't happen again you dropped the ball and lied to cover it up
