STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I had a horrible experience here. I went in to look for a suv and trade my vehicle in September. The only positive experience was our sales person Connor who was knowledgeable and kind, everything else HORRIBLE! The finance person will sit you down and in comes the fancy big screen on his desk where he in larges the screen where you only see your signature section. Shame on me for not asking more questions but I feel like I was pressured into buying over $7,000 almost $8,000 in warranties, everything sounded amazing. Not once did he tell us the amount we were financing! All he kept mentioning was it was just $90 added each month not once did he say the price for each warranty. ( he told me later that he did tell me all the prices but he didn’t! ) And I’m sure there’s a video of it because he said we were being recorded. I had to email him when I got home to ask him the total that’s when I was told the total! They have a small print advertising at the bottom that the price of advertised car price reflects $3,000 down payment… shady when i asked about this I was told all dealerships do this. ( actually no they don’t because I went with my son in law to Silko Honda a couple of days ago and they didn’t do that and were great!) I went back ( day after buying car and to pick it up ) to cancel some of these warranties and I walked out in tears having a panic attack!! I told Joe ( finance guy ) that I was talking to my sister and she told me that over $7,000 almost $8,000 is a lot in warranties, he then told me in a condescending attitude that if something happens to my car I should then send it to my sister for her to fix it!! And that I had people in my ears telling me and it’s not his fault I was having buyers remorse mind you I bought a $21,900 suv and put $5,000 down, my loan was over $29,000!!! He was horrible! I recorded my interaction with his knowledge. Outside the manager ( Kasey ) along with other sales people all kept saying “ yeah sometimes he’s rough” “ yeah it was Joe “ like they all knew it already and weren’t surprised! the manager told me she would tell the owner who was on vacation. I call my sister on the way home still in a panic mode, she called from NC and spoke to the same manager and said told her she was sorry her sister was treated this way and she would make things right. I was told to send in the video I had of him being horrible which I did, I emailed the manager and told her I wanted to speak to the owner …. It’s now been 2 months not one reply!! Even when I was canceling the warranties which by law I have 30 days to cancel he was still arguing with me saying it’s a great deal… STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I will be putting in a complaint to Hyundai corporate too! This guy Joe should not work with the public!
Oh he also told me that HE gave me 6.3% interest rate and he could've given me 13% lol I earned the 6% interest due to my credit score being 740! Like he was doing me a favor!! I’m sure negative reviews are being filtered here, it’s a different story on yelp!
I’m also stuck with a $440 a month payment until I refinance because they submitted the total with all the warranties before I was able to cancel the warranties the next day. 1.5 months later they sent $6,300 to the lender to subtract from the loan for the canceled warranties ( 2 of them couldnt be canceled because they had already been added to the car ) now I’m stuck with a $440 payment that couldnt be changed!

I went to Hyundai looking to get rid of my Kia and get into something more reliable and comfortable. Sodiq was my sales rep and he was absolutely amazing! He was straightforward with me the entire time and helped me get into a new SUV same day! Would definitely recommend him to anyone that goes here!

I bought a used car from Empire 10/21. Im still chasing down money, nearly a month later, that they owe me for an overage I paid toward my prior auto loan. They acknowledge the overage, that I am owed it, but havent been straight with why they are choosing not to reimburse me and i just have to wait longer... even after their finance debt assured me that Empire is very good with reimbursements and handles them with priority.
Took them 12 days to issue my registration because "the house" was busy with the trunk or treat event. Had to text and call constantly and threaten that I was going to report their mishandling before they finally gave me a dealer plate so I wouldn't be driving illegally.
My car was leaking oil so I had to bring it back a few days after I brought it home.
I emailed the GM with my concerns and he never replied.
This review is a little late considering we bought our car in August, and I don’t typically write reviews, but our experience with Empire Hyundai, and specifically our salesperson Sodiq was a truly great experience!
From the moment we met him, he was professional, patient, and we could see that he was a genuine person. What stood out most was how he went above and beyond to make the deal work for us. He took time to explain everything clearly, never pressured us, and really worked hard to get us a fair price that fit our budget. It honestly felt like he was on our side the whole time.
Thanks to his effort and kindness, we drove away in out new Palisade feeling confident and happy. We highly recommend working with Sodiq. Great job!

Do not buy from them. They posted an ad on Facebook for a new event called “Key for Key.” In the ad, it states that it’s $0 down. After they get you to apply for their financing, they then tell you that you need to have a down payment. Now i’ll be honest, my credit is bad. It is. However, knowing that, and knowing that this dealership scams people, I told them that up front. They have you do their financing and after they pull your credit, tell you they require X amount down.
I have had issues with them in the past but decided to give them another chance for this new event. Do not get tricked into this.
