  I went into Advance Auto Parts in Easthampton yesterday to have my car battery tested. Dan recommended it was time to replace the original battery in my 2018 Honda HRV. He went above and beyond with service & new battery installation. Thanks again Dan 😎

  The staff at the store here in Easthampton are always incredibly helpful and make sometimes annoying car maintenance stress-free. On my most recent visit, Dan helped me change out my failing battery in the middle of the coldest week in decades in an ice filled parking lot. Coming to this Advance Auto Parts really feels like a place of community and somewhere that helps out anyone regardless of their knowledge or experience with automotive maintenance.

  Kristi went above and beyond to change our car's battery. Today was an absolutely freezing cold day, single digits, with a huge snow storm on the way, and our car's battery decided to go kaput. It was not an easy swap because there was some corrosion etc that made everything much more difficult than usual. But Kristi kept at it and made it happen. (I don't know how she didn't turn into an icicle.) We really appreciate it! THANK YOU KRISTI!

  Dan was amazingly helpful and offered to check my battery for free, because I had needed AAA to come jump me 15 min. Earlier and they had suggested I buy a battery charger of my own to continue charging my battery and for the colder months, to help prevent my needing to call and wait for AAA every time it won’t start… but Dan thought that sounded a bit suspect and offered to check out IF the battery just needing to finish being charge was in fact the only thing I might need to worry about. I felt like he went above and beyond what he needed to do for me , especially since there was no guarantee that I was going to purchase anything! He checked my battery and told me everything looked great but he agreed it is always a good idea to have one of those chargers the AAA guy suggested I get, & after showing me the battery chargers I had asked about, I remembered I had possibly won one playing games on Temu, but I wasn’t sure IF it was actually the same as what they all suggested I get. So I grabbed it out of my trunk & Dan looked at it and helped to explain to me what it was that I had and how it would be useful. Dan also explained to me how what he had shown me was different and why it may be more helpful to invest in at some point… so though I did NOT purchase it then, WHEN/if I do purchase one, I know I would buy it from Dan at AAP, because I know he will help explain to me HOW to use it, & make sure I am confident before letting me leave. Sorry for the long tale, but the moral of the story is, THIS particular Auto Parts store, or at least Dan from there, seems very honest and helpful…so if you are auto-mechanically challenged, going here seems like a very good choice… Thanx again Dan for all your help, & I may be back to get that portable battery charger sometime soon! 😉
