- SSStephanie SNov 12, 20251.0The lady who answered the phone, I believe her name is Patti, was very rude and tried to charge me over $240 to replace my fog light bulbs, claiming the bumper needed to be removed. That’s not true — you only need to remove the splash shield underneath. When I mentioned that, she told me to go to Felix Auto Body instead. Very disappointing and unprofessional. It really felt like she underestimated me because I’m a woman. Update: I ended up going to a different shop (not Felix Auto Body), and they replaced my fog light bulbs for only $50. The job was done quickly with no issues. This just proves that the $240 quote I received was completely unnecessary and misleading.

She understood an issue and referred us to a local repairer of specialty parts that would have been able to do the required work (Welding) rather than taking us on themselves and replacing parts and being a large expense. The knowledge she has of local businesses in the area and who to trust is probably worth a gold mine, and the fact that they would rather refer to the right business than take on the work speaks volumes in todays age. Note: She did say they were booking regular mechanic work 2.5 weeks out from the day I visited, so they can be busy!

I moved here from Rhode Island and after reading the reviews, talking to some locals at work that spoke highly of Frank’s, and my dad talking her ear off, Patty squeezed me into her calendar. I dropped off my car early morning and it was fixed by the end of the day. Very fair prices! Patty is honest & professional and has now gone out of her way to help me with my old, high mileage car. She isn’t trying to make an extra buck off her customer’s. She’s just running a quality business built off trust and values with a seasoned crew that knows what they’re doing. And for that, Frank’s is hands down, now my spot. 🙌
