  Since you are relentless with sending me emails for feedback, here you go. Don't charge me to fill the fuel tank up upon return when I know for a fact it was already full. I stopped at a gas station about 5 miles from the airport and filled the vehicle up to the point it was overflowing - LITERALLY! When I got my email invoice, I was charged almost $9 for one gallon of gas. I called to complain and yes they reimbursed it. However, why do I have to be forced to do that? Yeah, $9 isn't a lot but multiply that across all the vehicles plus the fact that there are probably a high percentage of people who don't even look closely enough to catch it. That's not peanuts. It's the principle that pi$es me off. Dishonest and deceitful. Most may not care but for those that do, CHECK YOUR INVOICES! And to be fair, the rest of the process was very smooth and the vehicle very nice. No complaints regarding the rest of the staff or process. Can't be sure if this was the fault of the person checking in the car or the back office billing folks tacking it on.

  This is not National car rental problem, but a Boston Airport signage. There are huge signage Ground transportion, but none for rental car center that I could find. After asking several people who did not know, I found the wheelchair transport personal and was told Blue bus #22. Lower level where I picked up my luggage (where I would have expected to see a sign for rental center - none) After arrived to Boston airport rental center, National was easy to find. There were 2 people directing where to go find a car. Paul was the exit gate check person and was super helpful and much appreciated. Thanks Paul! Return of car was quick and easy!

  I recently traveled to Boston Logan airport and used National, I recently changed after using other services for the last 15 years. Marc Mrozek was extremely helpful and very courteous to myself, and the car behind me while unloading. I had a similar experience while picking the car up. Great people, and great facility

  Great service from the management here. They work really hard to make sure you have everything you need and go the extra mile to help. During my most recent trip, they helped me get a larger suv so I could fit my family. Very happy with this National branch.

  National really, really came through for me this past couple weeks! I had an uncertain situation with my father’s health, requiring me to book an urgent flight from Minneapolis (my home) to Boston on a one-way trip, grab a rental at National, then drive up to the Bangor, ME area. I booked the car rental for a week, unsure of what might transpire with my father. As it turns out, my dad’s health declined very quickly and passed away days later. Knowing that my adult children would be coming to Maine to join my wife and me, and simplifying my eventual trip home, I chose to arrange to fly back home starting from Bangor, and not back to Boston. I then contacted National to change my return date (a week later) and different location….got to talk to a real person fairly quickly. The initial upcharge to rent an additional week and return to a different location was much higher in cost than an extra week (at least double). Because the importance of that upcharge was so minor compared to my father’s passing, I accepted the terms, though asked about any bereavement rates available. National’s service rep said no, but thought perhaps her manager could assist, and connected me directly. This manager mentioned he couldn’t change anything himself, but if anyone could, it would be the Boston National site I rented from. Soon after I am talking to such a top notch manager at Boston National. I really felt he really appreciated/understood my situation and was determined to find a way to help. Within minutes, I had a new quote, for just an additional week with nothing else, and all approved to return the vehicle to Bangor. Total customer service from initial car rental to the return was excellent, as I always experience with National! I don’t find this level of consistent, perfect service very common elsewhere, not to mention the extra care and assistance bestowed to me during a very difficult time. Special kudos to Boston National!! Thank you so much, National!
