After buying a battery at the Hudson location and finding they couldn't install it immediately, I contacted the nearby Clinton store. They were incredibly accommodating and invited me to stop by on my way home. Matt, who assisted me, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The entire store was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. I will definitely be a returning customer whenever any of my vehicles need parts. I highly recommend this location!

While trying to figure out my mirror issue, was helping his colleague help his customers at the same time, knew where everything was, just knowledgable all around. Before leaving he put my broken mirror back up because I was nervous about being pulled over without one,(the new one wouldnt be in for a couple days because it was a Saturday, the part wouldnt be in till monday) let me tell you I call on monday and they tell me it's ready, so I say I'll be down shortly. This guy immediately says let's go out to your car and fixes it in minutes, prepared and ready to go....this boy deserves a raise. Just amazing service

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
