Enterprise confirmed I would be picked up at 8:00 AM, but they didn’t show up until 8:45 AM, which made me late for work despite calling them twice in advance to keep everything on schedule. When the representative handed me the car, the interior immediately smelled strongly of marijuana. I initially assumed it was from the employee’s clothing, but the smell remained just as strong after work. Several people confirmed that it smelled like someone had smoked inside the car with the windows closed. This is a direct violation of Enterprise’s own no-smoking policy, yet the car was given to me in this condition. You can see in the driver’s seat a hole which looks like it could have been from smoking cigarettes, all the caps for the tires were missing also. Since then, I’ve tried multiple times—through Corporate and other locations—to swap the vehicle. They told me no comparable cars were available and only offered a downgrade that I would have to pick up myself. As a parent with limited childcare and a busy schedule, I cannot safely put my baby in a car full of smoke residue. I also asked them to deliver a replacement, which they refused. Overall, this location has made it nearly impossible to resolve a problem that should have never occurred. The car is unsafe, the customer service has been unhelpful, and there has been zero accountability. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this Enterprise to anyone.
