  Great cars and terrific onsite customer service. A shout out to Quentin in particular who took the time, on his day off, to resolve a question with a previous rental. I've rented from Sixt in Cambridge twice and also in Portugal and have always been very satisfied. Thanks again!

  Extremely disappointed with our recent Sixt rental experience. At pickup, Sixt staff instructed us to inspect the vehicle and report any existing damage using the Sixt app. We followed this process exactly and in good faith. The car already had numerous visible damages, to the point that we went back inside the branch to ask for help. An employee confirmed that the correct procedure was to document everything through the app. We did so, carefully reporting the damages and uploading multiple photos at pickup. These photos are timestamped and clearly show that the damage Sixt is now trying to charge us for was already present before we took possession of the car. On top of that, the vehicle was provided in a dirty condition, which we also documented with photos. Despite being presented as an “upgrade,” the overall condition of the car clearly did not reflect that. Despite following Sixt’s own instructions and properly documenting everything at pickup, we are now being held responsible for pre-existing damage. This is extremely disappointing and not the level of fairness or customer service we expected. Fortunately, we have clear, timestamped evidence. Without it, this situation would have been very concerning.

  I returned a car after hours using the key dropbox and following the instructions posted on the rental office door. Two days later, I got an email from Sixt telling me that I still had not returned my rental. When I called, they said I could not prove I had dropped the car off two days ago and billed me for two extra days. Customer service has been totally unresponsive in addressing my concerns. After some good experiences, I will unfortunately never rent from this location or any Sixt again. They are an unreliable and dishonest company!

  I am extremely disappointed with my recent rental. Despite booking a Standard SUV, I was downgraded to a small car with zero notice. To make matters worse, I was initially granted a BMW X5 as a Diamond member, only for a manager to intervene and downgrade me to a vehicle that could not comfortably accommodate my party of 5. The car was so inadequately sized that we had to cancel our trip mid-way. Sixt failed to provide the service booked and ignored the guaranteed benefits of my status. Pls refund.

  This place is terrible!!!! Staff is nice on the pick up, but the check out experience was terrible. They never do the check out with you, they just take the keys and send you away, and then you will get an invoice with crazy charges and claims of damages. I got a claim of damage for a 10 cm scratch that I did not caused. And also returned the car with full tank and they are charging me for the fuel fee. Sixt in Cambridge MA, or any other location, never again!!!!
