    I will never shop at Advanced Auto Parts again. With the exception of Maya, who was super helpful and professional (and deserves a raise/promotion), everyone I encountered there was super unprofessional, rude, and not helpful at all. Especially the manager, James. I ordered front and back brake pads and rotors for my car buy then before opening the boxes found out my car had other issues so instead of fixing the car, I opted to trade it in towards a new car instead. The new car is not compatable with the brakes and rotors I bought so I decided to return since their return policy says I can return to any Advanced Auto within 45 days. This should have been easy, but when I went there I was told their system is only showing that I purchased one front rotor and one back rotor each and not two each, even though I had my confirmation email and reciept from the online purchase and the pick up receipt from the store from when I picked up the items after purchasing that confirms the quantities I actually bought. This was at the Main Street location and they suggested I try another Advanced Auto since I can return to any store. So I went to Belmont Street. Like I said Maya was awesome, but she can only do so much. She called her manager and told him my situation and he told her to return what the computer system says I have and then manually refund the rest. Not sure how that works or what a manual refund entails but she was able to get all of the brake pads and rotors refunded except for 2 rotors, one front and one back. I really dont understand the reason why as I had physical receipt, plus my order confirmation email, plus was able to pull up and show them the withdrawal for the amount shown on the receipt from Advanced Auto taken out of my bank account. Maya told me that for some reason (beyond her control) that particular location had their system set up to only allow exchanges when doing manual returns but that the manager could override it. She said he would be in the next day and that I could come and talk with him and he would help me. Instead of helping me, I got a performance lol. James pretended to help, even pretended to get on the phone with the online support number and "yelled" at them about how he couldnt hear them and they were cutting in and out. Then he claimed they (customer support) refunded the money while he was on the phone with them, that it would be refunded back to my bank within 24 to 48 hours and that I needed to give him the rotors even though he was not able to give me a return receipt or any type of proof that their WAS actually a refund issued. Plus listening to him on the phone talking to them, or actually berating, just didn't seem real. It came off as someone who was being performative and pretending to talk to and respond to someone who isnt actually there. Like he was pretending to call them on my behalf but actually was just talking to a dead line and not a person in an effort to give the elusion that he was helping when really he was actually trying to stall the return process since the the 45 days was almost up in order to force me to accept store credit instead. I knew once I gave him the rotors without proof of the refund that would mean I am out the cost of the rotors and no recourse to get my money back since after that I would not have the merchandise anymore. So I walked out without giving him the rotors and called my bank to confirm if a refund was started/issued for the rotors and the bank confirmed there was not. Today is the last day I can return per their policy and this happened yesterday. James knew what he was trying to do but I refuse to fall for it. I would rather sell the rotors online or even forfeit my money at this point than to accept store credit and give them any more of my business. It should't be this hard to return things at any store, and I could tell they def didn't care about losing a cutomer. As I said at the top of this review...I will never shop at Advanced Auto Parts ever again.

    I walked into this store yesterday and within 3 sec. A young lady very professional with a smile asked me if I needed help I handed her the old part I needed and she immediately got it off a shelf with a perfect match.the gentleman who rang me up was very personable and polite ,great job 👏
