I would have waited 2-3 hours for AAA to come with a new battery. She told me several things about preserving the new battery, which I did not know. Ashley was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. She is an excellent asset to this company. Thank you! Matt was also very helpful this evening, and came out and tested the battery and alternator as the store was closing- he also gave me some good info on where to get it fixed. TY!

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
