- LCLaurie CrawfordJan 27, 20265.0I was so impressed by the employees at this location. They were so helpful from the moment I walked in. They helped me find the right wiper blades and then I was ready to leave and they asked if I wanted them to install them for me. It may be common practice but I had no idea that they did that and it was -2 degree wind-chill so it definitely would have been easier for them to let me walk out the door without offering.
- RSRegina SanettiOct 25, 20255.0I needed a specific battery for my key fob. The first store I went to didn't have it. The staff encouraged me to go to Family Dollar or the Dollar Store. They said "those batteries are everywhere." They are not. Gina was the sales associate in the second store. She was great. She was pleasant and personable. Her store had one which I purchased. I do need a second one so my search is still underway. Keep Gina! She's a breath of fresh air!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
