- KWKelly WooldridgeSep 8, 20251.0I scheduled a rental car for a big trip with friends I had planned well in advance to make sure I had a vehicle for the 4th of July holiday weekend. I had multiple confirmation emails for the reservation as well as confirming over the phone with a rep at the Hanscom location. I received a call hours before my reservation to be told there was an issue and they gave away the rental car already without telling me and now they were completely sold out of everything while my trip up to Maine was relying completely on this rental car. I then had to find another Enterprise location that was an hour out of the way and get a smaller vehicle because of their mistake. I was told by that new location that I could have the Hanscom location comp the cost of my Uber to get to the new location as the least they could do for giving away the car and the inconvenience it caused. It has now been over 2 months that I have been trying to reach out to get the compensation after talking to numerous reps saying they "created a case and will get back to me asap." There is no number to call directly to the people I want to speak with and they have still never gotten back to me. I use Enterprise a lot when traveling and the new location I had to go was very helpful and everyone was very kind to us. This Hanscom location was the worst experience Iv ever had with Enterprise and the awful communication and customer service has been a nightmare to deal with. This is a great example of "if they wanted to they would."
