If you dont have the item in the store, why I'm allowed to place the order for the first place? If you have it or dont have it, it is cancelled and I have no clue about it. A quick phone should be easy but anyways terrible experience, waste of time....

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
