God bless that poor lady who was working the counter by herself. She had a smile on her face the entire time, and I honestly don’t know how she works in such horrible conditions. 👼
1. First of all when I booked this reservation it was over a call center that was not local, so they are not properly synced with someone who works locally in that office.
So the inventories for vehicles don’t match up when you get there to rent the car you wanted.
2. Since it is a non local call center person, the person did not know my cashapp Visa card was not accepted here. So I spent a lot of money in fees going back and forth getting money to a bank account they accepted.
3. There was only one person working in the office so there is currently six people in line with the phone ringing off the hook. I had to get bumped to the back of the line while I tried to transfer money to a card Enterprise accepts.

I wouldn’t have the time to write such a long reply if your mismanagement/ greed in not hiring sufficient local workers.
Next time I rent a car I will get a friend to drive me an hour east to Avis car rental as disorganization and mismanagement is at a corporate level.

This review is for Enterprise overall and not this specific branch. I have been a loyal Enterprise customer for about the last 20 years. Back in March 2025, I rented a vehicle from enterprise in Richmond, Virgina (RIC). During our trip a rock got kicked up and put a crack in the windshield. Per the contract, I immediately contacted customer service to report the damage. I was thanked by customer service for being honest, and was instructed that the branch would conduct the inspection after I turned the car in and would let me know if I was liable for the windshield. I turned the car into the associate and told them about the windshield and they said they would notify me if I was liable. The same day I received a standard email with my receipt indicating that no damage was being assessed and my deposit was returned. Fast forward 99 days later, I get a email from the Enterprise damage recovery unit saying I owe $900. I responded to Kaniya Gray's email asking for the enterprise policy on notifying customers of damages with no response. I told her my problem wasn't that I caused the damage. My problem was: my contract was closed out, deposit returned, no indication that I was being held liable for the damages and most important it was well outside the 45 day window my credit card allows to make a claim to cover the damages at no cost to me. On Jan 22, 2026, Elizabeth Anderson also from the damage recovery unit decided to respond to my email 10 MONTHS later! This time we discussed the issues and I was yelled at and talked over like I was a child. I told her my concerns and they fell on deaf ears. Elizabeth Anderson added poor excuses and a crappy attitude. So my issue is still unresolved. I know my case wasn't handled in accordance with enterprise policy because I had damages to other cars in the past and you get a document of where the damage is located and your deposit is not returned. Since enterprise won't provide me with any of the information I requested and decided it was best to yell at me over the phone, they lost a lifetime customer and we can utilize the legal system to take care of this matter just like they threatened me with in their final notice from rude damage recovery employee Elizabeth Anderson. Please use my experience as a warning to not rent with enterprise or at least hold their employees accountable for their lack of knowledge on their own polices.
Regarding Heather's rely: I have contacted enterprise customer support extensively over this matter. Nobody cares and nobody wants divulge policy information because if they did they would admit that this wasn't handled in compliance with company policies. Instead your company chooses to allow extremely rude damage recovery employees to disrespect and yell at customers. Pull the tape! Just like you responded with no real information. Your guidance just puts me back into the customer service loop that never provides adequate answers or accountability for employee failures. BBB is next in line to learn about this problem.

Enterprises people were always helpful. If you have to renew your contract in another area it’s going to cost you more. My points from 3 months renting has not been applied yet.
