  This is one of the worst car rental experiences I have ever had. We arrived at 10:30 PM at the desk. There was a couple ahead of us. We waited at least 30 minutes while the single clerk dealt with their complex problem. When we got to the desk, we were told the car that we had reserved and paid for was not available. But the clerk could provide us a nicer car for $15 a day more (that is $75 for our trip). We said no, we'll wait for our car to be available. After another 15 minutes we were told a minivan was available for the same price as our economy car. We took that. Then I asked for my spouse to be added. That would be $15 a day more. That is unacceptable. (That also would have been $75 more. It should be 0 as we have the same insurance and risk, but $5 a day would have been ok). The car functioned fine. The return process was quick. The management sent apologies and $75 voucher. Frankly, the counter was understaffed. The company overbooked so our car wasn't ready. And then the clerk was forced to make a ridiculous upsell. Until, I see a change in behavior that voucher is useless.

  Do not rent from this location. I stayed for the damage review at the end of the trip to be told “everything looks great” only to receive a claim 2 days later for a scratch on the rear view mirror. The scratch was clearly documented in the multiple pictures we uploaded on day 1. This car has scrapes/dings everywhere. Claims department is no help, they don’t answer or respond at all. They expect me to pay $550 for a scratch, half of which is admin fees. This is the worst rental car company, avoid at all costs.

  Crystal was very welcoming and accommodating. She is just the sweetest thing for me coming into town for a wedding and recommended me to a better car to arrive in style. Her partner also wanted me to make sure I was happy with what I had before driving off and it was promptly brought to me. 4 stars because the suspension felt a bit uneven after driving away from the airport but I am also used to something way more commute friendly. Nonetheless Service was excellent and a good first impression of the company overall.

  Lanesha was my agent and I love how informative she was about my reservation and what I needed to provide so I can get going! Of course my size vehicle wasn’t available but I ended up getting a free upgrade to a pickup truck. It was Halloween and the pickup truck was right on time. I would love to rent here unless otherwise. Thank you Lanesha for your patience with me and stay blessed my girl 🙂

  I rented an automobile from sixt 9/3 to 9/6 2025 from the New Orleans airport branch. Was not given the car I wanted ,they said they upgraded me to a Volvo station wagon . On picking up the car which was dark grey in a dark garage I noticed no visible scratches . On returning the vehicle there was no one in the booth and again I did a walk around the car and saw no visible damage. To my surprise almost 4 weeks later I received an email from sixt regarding 2 scratches . I submitted this to credit card insurance co and they asked for pics of the alleged damage. I reached out to Sixt twice and they have not responded. $1497.00 for 2: scratches! This is a predatory company that r,ents premium cars for below market prices then makes up the difference in questionable charges. They recently paid an 11.3 million dollar settlement for the same thing. I understand they also reported people to the credit bureau for non payment even though cases were being mediated . Do not use this company you will regret it as I do. I’m filing a complaint with Louisiana Attorney General Office.
