  I never heard of Sixt before a few weeks ago, but apparently they have been around for several decades. I have been told that they are one of the largest rental agencies in Europe. Ok, I guess. . . The rental experience with them was excellent. I have used them twice now and will definitely come again.

  Horrible customer service and questionable business practices. I strongly recommend renting from any other company. I did not get the vehicle that was reserved online.(FULL SIZE SUV) The employee who assisted was very RUDE ! Instead of being accommodating. I had to walk around the parking lot and look for a vehicle that was comparable to what I had initially reserved myself instead of it being offered by management . Higher rates were charged to my account without my consent . The lack of professionalism and unwillingness to honor the reservation was very frustrating. Based on this experience, it’s not surprising they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau! Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else!

  Did not have the type of car (Corolla or similar) available as contracted - very low inventory…offered SUV’s at no additional charge. SUV’s are a drag to operate in the city where on the street parking is required - they are also not environmentally friendly and expensive with fuel costs.

  Ricardo Stevenson provided excellent customer service during my rental experience at Sixt. He was professional, helpful, and made the entire process smooth and efficient. Ricardo took the time to answer my questions and ensured I understood everything about my rental. His positive attitude and attention to detail really stood out. I truly appreciate the great service and would gladly rent from Sixt again because of the experience he provided.

  Rent from Sixt if you're looking for a dangerous vehicle and predatory billing. First off, they gave our reserved car to the customer right in front of us and assigned us a vehicle with a bad tire. When we realized the tire was failing, we called Sixt immediately. They instructed us to take it to any tire shop and promised reimbursement for the repair. Unfortunately, the tire was unrepairable, and no shops within our weekend travel radius carried that specific size for a replacement. We were stranded over 100 miles from the nearest Sixt location and had to rely on the kindness of local mechanics to patch it just to limp by. To add insult to injury, after returning the car, Sixt sent us a bill to replace the faulty tire they gave us in the first place. Customer service has provided zero help. Avoid this company unless you want to pay for their terrible maintenance and mistakes. You'll see that Sixt replied below. This pithy response is not at all a satisfactory remedy for the money they extorted from us to buy a new tire.
