  I always thought Penske was a great company to use. My experience with them has been so dissatisfactory and horrible that it forced me to write this review. I rented a 26ft box truck and after having it for over a month. AIaina is the rep I was working with. I was then told by Sarah that I was 12,000 miles over, who then tried to charged my card for $4,500 after charging it for $1,178.00 dollars, causing a fraud alert on my card which my bank had locked the card. The contract was supposed to be written for 1500 miles per week, but instead was set at only 500 miles per week. Because of their failure to review the contract, they are now trying to charge me for all those miles. After investigating more, Alaina tells me that the truck I'm in does not have telematics, which cannot accurately report the miles to their system. So why wasn't I giving a different vehicle when you knew this? That's when I told her, you had me behind miles when I first left the lot. Their way of fixing it was to rewrite the contract and then have me to pay for the miles behind while paying $1,118.00. Which made no sense whatsoever. I then call to make the payment for the truck, which Alaina tells me that Penske's finance department says that she can't take my payment and for me to return the truck until the miles are caught up. Really? Just bad business all around

  Just called to get a quote on mileage costs etc. The guy who answered the phone was very abrupt (like he couldn't be bothered), and then he hung up on me! Thought the previous 3 star reviewer was maybe worth the risk trying them, but now I know better...
