  I have always rented Alamo ever since I had a license and never had a problem until this last rental. I hadn't had the need to rent in awhile but unfortunately I sold my car and death in the family within a week's time. I could have been notified prior to my rental that because of my state license, not my character, I would have to spend $400 unexpected funds that was set aside for my mortgage. Thank God I had it or I guess I would have had to miss my family's funeral and drive back 45m with my kids home. Just no prior notification. The vehicle I chose would not come out of a safety feature which backfired and made it very difficult to maneuver anytime there was construction which was a lot during an 800+m trip. The vehicle jerked like a pinball machine for miles at a time because it thought the yellow or white line underneath was too close. This was next to 18 wheelers, scared drivers, you name. At the end of construction zones, my arms were either tight or aching from holding the wheel extra tight for fear of being jerked into another vehicle. Also there was an alert light that repeatedly came on even though the vehicle was driving straight. I thought the point of being an Alamo insider was to save money. I felt that trip basically costed me $600 instead of $200. Most likely will be my last time renting with Alamo. Just disappointed.

  Pickup Feb 25/26 at approx 5:30 pm confirm#1393753193 The Rental experience was excellent. From the counter lady.. friendly, considerate, knowledgeable etc. Joyce in the park garage was awesomely helpful and informative. Both went the extra mile. If anyone ask me about, and many do, I tell them Alamo is the way to go. Every experience I've had with them has been excellent.

  I just want to Thank Shazam. She really showed me what customer service is about. I had a rental from the Jackson MS branch where I was treated very rudely, break down on me. I was about to have a breakdown myself as I was grieving the loss of my father and just trying to get to my family safely. She put her best foot forward and showed real concern and listened to me vent about the broke down car and how much time the breakdown took from me. She made sure I was in the veh class I had already rented so my tall self could be comfortable. I appreciate her efforts very much. Thank you Shazam.

  The car i reserved was not available when I arrived after massive travel delays at 4:30am. I had to wait over an hour for a similar vehicle to be cleaned and prepared. I had called when my flight was first delayed and was reassured my vehicle reservation would be held for 24hr. The desk agent tried to give me a different vehicle but when you are transporting a family plus luggage da sedan, a convertible or pick-up truck are NOT the same as an SUV.

  ALAMO es una de las peores empresas de alquiler de coches, recomiendo no usar esta compañía. Nos confirmó una persona de la propia compañía que la práctica habitual del personal del mostrador de todos sus puntos de trabajo es colarte servicios que no necesitas. Y si no lo consiguen te hacen esperar y te ponen todas las pegas que pueden, sabiendo que en la mayoría de los casos los clientes tenemos prisas. Fuimos a recoger en agosto un coche ya pagado de antemano y nos obligaron a coger otro más grande que no necesitábamos, con otro seguro que ya teníamos pagado. Era muy tarde, tras más de una hora de cola, y nos dijeron que o cogiamos eso o volviamos a la cola un par de horas. Hemos reclamado y no nos hacen caso. Una autentica estafa. Al devolver el coche nos explicó el personal que es práctica habitual de los vendedores del mostrador. He alquilado muchos coches en diversas compañías y puedo asegurar que ALAMO sin duda es la peor de todas. Contratar cualquier otra menos ALAMO.
