  I’ve consistently had a great experience renting from Alamo at MSY. The app’s pre-check-in feature is a huge time-saver, allowing me to skip what can sometimes be a long and busy line at the rental car center. What really stands out, though, is the staff. The team members who greet me and help with choosing a car are always friendly and welcoming, and the lady at the checkout booth when exiting the rental center is consistently kind and efficient. Overall, the combination of convenience and genuinely helpful customer service makes this location one I can rely on every time I travel through MSY.

  I was in New Orleans on bereavement leave and decided to reserve a vehicle through Alamo Rent-A-Car. The reservation process and pickup at the airport was smooth and uneventful. I chose a 2026 Toyota Camry HEV and it was a great little car for my purpose. I would highly recommend Alamo for the future rental needs.

  Excellent service!! Frequently use Alamo at MSY and will continue to do so. I accidentally left my personal key in the rental car instead of the rental key. They worked to get the key to me at the terminal so I wouldn’t miss my flight. They truly went above and beyond.

  Lost an AirPod on Sunday 3/15 and realized less than 90 minutes after dropping off the car. I created a lost ticket immediately and called the office, leaving a voicemail. I could tell it was in the car as tracking on the item stayed live for hours after it, showing the item moving in the car to a cleaning facility next door. They only called on Wednesday 3/18 to note our poor review of the survey, but couldn’t tell us if the car had been searched after cleaning (must have been pretty bad cleaning if they couldn’t find an AirPod by the driver’s seat) or even if the car was in the lot. They said they’d escalate the issue with lost and found- wouldn’t a lost report already have alerted their team? I left voicemails every day between 3/15 and 3/18. No communication since 3/18 from their office. The corporate line sends you to voicemail every time after 4 minutes on hold no matter what time of day I call. My lost item reference number is now “invalid” even though the item hasn’t been found and it’s only been a week. On the car itself- they didn’t fill it all the way when I picked it up, as when I filled it before returning it had about 25-30 more miles of range than when I had picked it up “full”

  I have always rented Alamo ever since I had a license and never had a problem until this last rental. I hadn't had the need to rent in awhile but unfortunately I sold my car and death in the family within a week's time. I could have been notified prior to my rental that because of my state license, not my character, I would have to spend $400 unexpected funds that was set aside for my mortgage. Thank God I had it or I guess I would have had to miss my family's funeral and drive back 45m with my kids home. Just no prior notification. The vehicle I chose would not come out of a safety feature which backfired and made it very difficult to maneuver anytime there was construction which was a lot during an 800+m trip. The vehicle jerked like a pinball machine for miles at a time because it thought the yellow or white line underneath was too close. This was next to 18 wheelers, scared drivers, you name. At the end of construction zones, my arms were either tight or aching from holding the wheel extra tight for fear of being jerked into another vehicle. Also there was an alert light that repeatedly came on even though the vehicle was driving straight. I thought the point of being an Alamo insider was to save money. I felt that trip basically costed me $600 instead of $200. Most likely will be my last time renting with Alamo. Just disappointed.
