  Put defective brake pads, went back they changed them did whole brake job. My brakes squeaked like never before and eventually my car was not stopping good, I was sliding. Once again bad brake pads. Finally went to another brake shop and now my car is perfect. I do not recommend for brakes.

  Not recommended for mechanic work. Any mechanic work that they advise, you should go for a second opinion. I saved $1200 by taking my truck to another mechanic shop and received a second opinion. Mavis advised my control arms were not bad and there was nothing wrong with them per another automotive shop.

  BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! As it is, no one wants to have to get maintenance done because it is never cheap, but when you can actually FEEL and see that the mechanics, management, etc are kind and genuine—it makes all the difference in the WORLD!! I have a friend that is a mechanic and he told me exactly what I would need and that is the same thing they told me here—nothing extra, no upselling!! As a woman, I have overpaid more times than I can count for things that I really didn’t need. Oh, and the icing on the cake: Elke, the manager overheard me saying that I wanted a bag of chips out of the vending machine, but I didn’t have change. She soon appeared with the bag of chips I that I wanted. Doesn’t get any better than that 😊 Thanks Elke and Tyler!!

  I went to this location about a month ago and will probably not come back. As a college student, I searched up places near me that had deals on brake repairs and Mavis was the first to pop up. There was some squeaking in my front tire on the passenger side that I thought was an issue with my brakes so I went to Mavis to check it out. With $1,000 in my pocket, I went to Mavis for a simple brake repair that I thought would be kind of cheap due to the deal they had going on. When I went to the shop, they told me all the issues that was wrong with my car. They mentioned that I would need a shocks and struts repair, I asked for an estimate and they said it would be around $2,200-$3,000 repair job. I told them that I couldn’t afford all of the issues to get fixed right away so I asked them what the cheapest option was that I could fix. They estimated that I need to do a front brake repair with a rotor change for $890. I was appalled but if it had to be done, it had to be done. I paid for the definitely overpriced service and went along my way. I had one full day of no squeaking in my tire after I left the shop until it returned after that full day. They blamed my apparent “shocks and struts” but another mechanic told me that I required new tire rods, something that this shop’s mechanics did not even mention. I have no idea if it was because I was by myself as a young woman or what but I called another mechanic shop named Tony’s Tire who admitted that this place definitely overpriced me and that they could have done a brake change for much cheaper. Safe to say that I will probably not visit here again. Staff were friendly but the prices definitely aren’t. I wasn’t expecting a cheap price for car repairs but definitely something more reasonable than those prices that I was given.
