The service rep is not communicating with me about the status of my vehicle. Getting info is like pulling teeth. A loaner or rental has not been provided. What was supposed to be a simple job has turned into a nightmare of a process. I will no longer do business with bill hood ford in Hammond.

Had my car’s coolant overheat and took it here since I had a ford warranty still. They took 3 days to have a technician diagnose the problem. When they finally did, the part they needed was not covered under warranty, and originally quoted me over $500 for the fix. After a week and 2 days from when it was dropped off, they had it “fixed”. When I went to pick it up, they wanted to charge me almost $1000 for the fix. After lowering it to $730, I paid and left headed back home on an 8 hour road trip. Two and a half hours into the drive, I find out it was not fixed, and took it into another car shop to have it fixed. Being out of state, I’ve had to rent a car to drive home while it was in the shop, take a flight back into town and an uber ride to the dealership all to deal with the logistical nightmare of my mistake taking my car here.
