- JJJudiNov 26, 20255.0Hi I was there on October heading north on I55. My Mazda 3 practically quit on me. I rolled in to Hammond late that night with my two little animals. I was on my way to see my elderly Mom in Brandon, MS. It was scary for me since it was late and I knew things would be closed. I was traveling from Houston, TX after work. I had to sleep in my car that night since no one would allow my animals. Very early that morning I was waking up in the Autozone parking lot.... Needless to say Mr. Lawrence and his staff member (I wish I knew his name) with their initiative to go beyond was something you do not see these days! They both were so helpful and such a blessing to me the that morning. The free Diagnostic check AutoZone offers was SOO appreciated! They were able to narrow down the problem and were able to help me. With my car being an import they worked with me to use a universal part to at least get me going again until I was able to get to a Mazda dealership! Advising me what to do once I arrived at my destination. Mr. Lawrence was even nice enough to give me some numbers of people he knew in the Brandon area, since his parent reside close to where my Mom is. I did get to my Mom's safe and back in Houston fine. It's Thanksgiving and I am Thankful for Mr. Lawrence, his staff in the town of Hammond LA! May they be blessed for the kindness they offered a lady in distress!
