  DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT DO IT. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE OR $$ WITH THIS COMPANY. Im not one to write reviews but IM DONE. with this place. I went in the first week of December because my check engine light came on. Mind you it came home frequently before that time and they said oh yeah its nothing. Its just a glitch. Everything is fine. Everytime it came on id come in and have them run the test and check codes. The last time I came in they said the alternator is starting to go bad and also should replace the belt. So I drop it off the next day and arrange a ride. They WAITED almost till closing to tell me that the car is read for pick up. I pay for it. Drive about a block and notice the light is still on. So I come back. "Give it time, it will reset" Came back next day because the light went off and came right back on. Allen the shop manager says "hmmm let's check if its the battery. Lets swap it out and see if the light goes off." No luck. Okay.. so he then proceeds to say "let me google it". " looks like It could be a battery sensor, ive never heard of a battery sensor before". Turns out its only available at the dealership. Okay cool. So im stuck driving it without that peice. Well the shudder seems worse now more than ever ..So I come back a couple days later and ask him if I should do a transmission flush. Allen says "it may or may not fix the issue but yes we can". I sat for almost 4 hours waiting for it to be ready. Then Allen comes and tells me "oh yeah you needed it that oil was black". Fast forward to yesterday I brought it to another shop to look at my transmission because problem has gotten worse and I no longer trust these guys... the mechanic tells me that oil is black.. he said that other shop should have never taken your money. The fact that they were not knowledgeable enough to know that my oil was black so the flush is not ideal is wild. Also there was zero communication about my oil UNTIL it was done.. and I was stuck paying for something that didnt even need to be done. I mean this people are doing trial and error and taking people's money without actually fixing the issues... What A mess. Never again. Save your time and money and go somewhere trustworthy.

  Where do I start ,went for oil change at express oil down from ST Tammany Hospital, . Tech who oversaw the other tech doing the oil change wasn’t to nice . The tech who was under my hood ask the guy making my ticket do they need to check tires he said no, then ask me do I need my air filter changed , I ask how much he stated $50 & said he has to walk to auto Zone to get it . Other Express places $20 for my small car . I said no thank you. My oil change was $60 . Absolutely nothing else was checked. They done in about 3-5min. All the other workers sat in the door talking. He made sure to show me oil change level was good after, didn’t check anything else , the oil still didn’t look to good . I feel like I wasted my time & money & left feeling nothing was accomplished. I know what comes with the oil change but it was not delivered. The tech who performed the oil change did not asked of such as which oil would I prefer. Terrible service , never going to that one again. I just moved from Lafayette la & usually get my oil changed at Express Oil on Johnston st, if I could I would give them 💯 Stars ✨ they checked every thing on my car & was very pleasant & profesional. Asked if I wanted something to drink while waiting, As well as Hammond la location by Walmart , I went to get tire rods and again they checked everything as well , was suppose to get my oil changed there but went to Covington (NEVER EVER AGAIN) I felt like wasted $60.

  After a not-so-great experience with two local competitors, Tyler listened to my needs and took care of them without hesitation. He told me he would personally take care if my tire change and he finished it sooner than promised. I can’t recommend this place, and Tyler, enough.

  Pulled in after getting an oil change from another company and had an oil leak. Brandon took a look and saw they forgot to put the drain plug washer back on. They replaced the washer and sent me on my way! Thanks Brandon, Allen and Harley for the help!

  Express has been servicing my fleet vehicle since I received it. Tyler and Allen are outstanding. They are extremely knowledgeable and keep me updated on all services while always providing excellent service.
