I walked in a hot mess as I was having a bad morning already and on top of it my car died at the sonic next to advanced. The employee Mason kindly walked over and helped me test my battery. I am super appreciative! Thank you!

Bought my car battery from them. It is still under warranty. My car wouldn't start so took it in to have battery tested. They said it was good. Wanted to test for the starter but car would not start right away. Finally got it started and she said it's not the battery probably the starter but she didn't test starter. Took my car somewhere else and they said they battery was bad. Called the store and they said they would not replace the battery because they tested it twice and it was good. Told me I need to take it and get another opinion. I'm at work, do not have the time to take it anywhere else. Having it replaced at the place that said it was bad. Never use them again. Cannot honor a warranty. I am leaving one star because I have no option to leave 0 star.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
