I recently had a cracked windshield and went to Safelite AutoGlass because my insurance recommended them. Even though I had heard some negative stories, I decided to give them a chance.
When I arrived for my appointment on Saturday, the technician who helped me was very kind and welcoming. He made me feel comfortable about choosing Safelite. The wait time was about three hours, which I expected since they were replacing the windshield and recalibrating the glass.
However, the experience went downhill after I left. It rained the night my windshield was replaced. The next morning on my way to work, I noticed everything inside my car felt damp. At first I didn’t think much of it, but once I reached highway speed, I could hear wind coming into the car even though all the windows were closed. As the rain got heavier, I could actually hear and feel water coming into my car. By the time I arrived at work, there was so much water inside that my cupholders were filled with rainwater.
Since this happened on Sunday and Safelite is closed, I had to wait until Monday morning to contact customer service. It took about 30 minutes just to reach a live representative. I was understandably upset because my car interior was soaked.
To their credit, customer service arranged for a technician to come out to my home to inspect the vehicle. He was the one who identified that the windshield had not been sealed properly during installation. Unfortunately, he had difficulty recalibrating the glass, so I still had to return to the same Safelite AutoGlass location that installed it incorrectly in the first place. I even had to miss work to deal with this.
When I returned to the shop, not one person — including the manager — apologized for the inconvenience. They recalibrated the glass and said they shampooed my car, but the vehicle still smells musty from the water that got inside. Now I have to find somewhere else to properly clean and deodorize my carpets.
Mistakes happen, but accountability and customer service matter. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking at this location. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Appointment was at 2pm did not leave until after 5. Crappy work have to take back tomorrow for warranty. There is a chip in the top corner of the glass, the seal is not done properly, the plastic molding pieces at the bottom are loose and not properly put back. It appears the employees were more worried about flirting with the lady at the front desk rather than completing jobs in a timely and correct way. Now I have to take time off work again for their mistakes PLUS come out of pocket for another inspection sticker that I just purchased last week once the new windshield was installed. 😠

I scheduled a mobile windshield replacement on the company website and filled out the make/model information of my vehicle. The technician arrived and told me my windshield replacement had to be done in the shop because my car is a convertible. Frustrating since my vehicle information was provided when I scheduled the mobile service. Scheduled an appointment at the shop and picked my car up after being notified it was complete. Seemingly no issues until I got home and realized the frame pieces surrounding the new windshield were all misaligned and left gaps between pieces. Brought it BACK to the shop and was told to wait for it because it would be a quick fix. Over 1.5 hours later (of waiting in the dumpy lobby) my car was ready. This shop is technically inept and a complete time suck.

I brought my Tesla Model 3 in to have the windshield repaired, and the result is extremely disappointing. The crack may technically be gone, but the repair itself looks terrible. There’s a noticeable blemish/distortion right in my line of sight that wasn’t there before, and it honestly looks worse cosmetically than the original damage.
For a professional service—especially on a newer vehicle—I expected a clean, nearly invisible repair. Instead, I’m left with a windshield that looks poorly patched and distracting while driving. This does not meet the quality I was promised or what I paid for.
I can’t recommend this location based on my experience.
