  First "at home" appointment was not complete. Ended up going to Safelite building the next day. The technician called me 2 hours before timeslot asking if he could come then. I told him I was on an errand and I would call when I returned ( I was on errand and would have been back well before the start of scheduled appointment timeframe). When I returned home, I called the technician, but no answer. I called a few more times, still no answer. I called the store to inform them of what was going on. They calledbtue technician, but he didn't answer their call either. Ended up going to store the next morning for the install. That experience was somewhat redeeming. Thank you

  Convenient locations, friendly staff, quick service! My work travels between Baton Rouge and Lafayette Louisiana. I can schedule repairs day of and I leave with a smile. Windshield changed less than 1yr ago and had more than 5 chip repairs it’s still going strong. Shout out to Baton Rouge location near Siegen ln and Scott location near Lafayette.

  Made an appointment last week to have service at my home. Twice I was called to reschedule. CSR was polite, but the repair folks are super unreliable. Cancelled and will use a local shop. Shop local.

  They definitely send plenty of notifications of appointment. Technician was professional and friendly. He did a great job and was clean and efficient. Probably should've just done basic windshield replacement and not wipers as they are nothing special...

  The only thing that saved this review from 1 star is the helpfulness of the guy I checked in with and the fact that the job seems to have been done correctly. However, the lack of communication as to progress and completion was off the chart inadequate and even inaccurate and confusing. Signing up on-line was easy and I immediately got confirmation, but after dropping it off with a promise it would be done by 5:00, I heard NOTHING from shop personnel. Calls are answered by a bot and then forwarded to an AI bot, then forwarded to a human who isn't even at the site. They have all the information they need based on simply the phone number I'm calling from but ZERO information about the status. Around 4:30 as I headed to the shop to check on it, I get a text stating they are now working on it. Then I check e-mail only to find i had been sent an e-mail around 3:30 to say the same thing - but that was an hour earlier. I show up at the shop at like 4:50 and ask the guy who comes to the window if it's done. He finds a folder on the reception desk, looks at it and tells me I have a $50 copay. I ask him again... Is it done? He finally says it is. I tell him there has been zero communication about when it would be done and the shop is closing in like 10 minutes. He starts telling me the process after the replacements occurs, which I interrupt to tell him that's not the point! There was ZERO communication. If there is an alternative way to using Safelite within 100 miles, I will go there next time. Zero customer service.
