I live in Miramar Beach, FL and was traveling to Lafayette, LA when I stopped for gas in Covington and noticed an alarming knocking sound as I parked. With the help of a gentleman at the gas station, we quickly realized something was seriously wrong with my rear brakes. It turned out that a previous brake/rotor replacement done at the Fort Walton Beach Express Oil Change had been installed incorrectly, and I was missing two caliper bolts—a very dangerous situation. I immediately called the Fort Walton Beach location to notify them. Since I was already more than halfway through my trip, returning wasn’t an option. Steve and the manager at the Fort Walton location immediately contacted the Covington shop and let them know I’d be arriving within 10 minutes. When I pulled in, Dalton and Brandon jumped into action, inspected all of my brakes, confirmed the issue, replaced the missing bolts, and thoroughly checked everything to make sure my car was safe. They had me back on the road in under an hour. Truly, if I hadn’t stopped when I did, I might not be here to write this review. Huge thank-you to Dalton and Brandon for their fast, professional, and lifesaving work. I’m incredibly grateful for their help and cannot recommend the Covington location enough.
- PDPat DewittOct 21, 20255.0I went in to have a tire checked and while I was in there a woman was in there before I got there having some work done on her car and was afraid that she might not make it out in time to pick up her small children from school and the gentleman that was working behind the counter with even thinking twice to her that she could uses his truck to pick them up and he put the car seats in the truck for her and I just wanted to let everyone know that there’s still good people in the world and I will be giving Quality lube my business from now on the man showed me no matter what there are still good people in the world and I want to thank them for showing me with the way the world is now it was so good to see their is still kindness in the world signed Patricia Dewitt P.S. and I will pass the kindness that he showed me that is still I this world thanks again
