  DO NOT TRUST ENTERPRISE! Update: Enterprise replied to my review telling me to use their “Contact Us” link. I did. I opened a formal complaint through their chat, provided all details, and was told the feedback would be sent to the regional office. Nothing was resolved and no one helped me find any solution. Their support process leads nowhere!! Even worse, customer service said they couldn’t promise anyone would contact me, couldn’t provide a case number beyond my reservation number, and stated there was “no compensation.” Because Enterprise did not honor my confirmed reservation and provided no alternative, I had to cancel my trip and lost money on non-refundable bookings. This is not a service you can rely on.

  I had a confirmed reservation at the Enterprise branch on MacArthur Dr in Alexandria, LA for 6:00 PM. I arrived early (around 4:45 PM) and was physically present at the counter. The agent told me an LSU discount code would only apply for business travel. I told the agent I was going to step just outside the store to make a quick phone call to clarify it. I did not leave the area, I was right outside the office for about 15 minutes, and employees could see me while I was on the phone. When I came back inside, I agreed to rent at the regular personal rate with no discount. At that point, I also explained that I had a confirmed leisure trip early the next morning and urgently needed the car to travel. Despite my confirmed reservation, the staff told me the vehicle reserved under my name had been rented to someone else and that there were no cars available either that evening or the next day. I did not cancel my reservation, and I was there before the pickup time. What made this worse was the lack of any attempt to help. The agent offered no solutions (no alternatives, no transfer from another branch, no suggestions) and basically ended the conversation with: “There is nothing I can do, have a good day.” It felt like they just wanted me out the door. Customer service and accountability were zero. This left me stranded and forced me to arrange a last-minute alternative to avoid losing a non-refundable trip. I would not recommend this location.

  I had a confirmed reservation for a rental vehicle. When I arrived at the branch, I was informed that there were no cars available. I was told that the vehicle assigned to my reservation had been given to someone else. This is completely unacceptable. We had a scheduled trip and relied on Enterprise to honor our confirmed booking. Instead, we were left without transportation and without any viable solution. No alternative vehicle was offered, no transfer to another location was arranged, and no assistance was provided to help us secure a car elsewhere. A confirmed reservation should mean exactly that — confirmed. Passing our vehicle to another customer and offering no resolution demonstrates a serious failure in customer service and operational responsibility. This experience caused significant inconvenience and disruption to our travel plans. We expected professionalism and reliability from Enterprise, and unfortunately, we received neither.

  I reserved a car online, got confirmation, and was assured over the phone that it would be available. When I arrived at the store, there was no car, and the employees told me there was nothing they could do for me.
