- DCdebi connerApr 6, 20261.0If you pay with a card at the pump, they put a $150 hold on your card PLUS take what you spend on gas. They should have a notice posted on each pump. Stop at a Pilot twice in a day on a road trip and you might not have enough available on your card to eat for two or three of days.
