On our particular make and model, a Chevrolet Corvette, the front of the car by the manufacturer design has a front air dam four inches from the ground. This part was damaged during the accident and was replaced with the correct part, (which came in two sections, the frame brace and the plastic air dam with two spring loaded mechanisms to allow for movement if to come into contact with road debris by manufacturer design) but the part was assembled and installed upside down by the "gentleman" employee. The part was not properly attached and had to be "adjusted" in the parking lot the day of pickup. The part did not function properly and broke when in function due to improper assembly being only one inch from pavement instead of the General Motors' design of four inches. Upon return, despite the replaced parts clearly stated as having a lifetime warranty, the shop did not replace the part that had been installed upside down by their employee. The "gentleman" employee was extremely disrespectful to myself and members of the family and had a violent verbal confrontation when questioned on said occasion. In the end, I had to replace the part out pocket, and the shop did not honor the lifetime warranty despite the part being installed upside down and improperly and furthermore neglectfully by the employee. A lot of nerve for business owners who claim to run a so-called "Christian Establishment" We had to purchase the part and install it ourselves correctly. In conclusion, it is not recommended on any level.
