- AGabner Phone Guy6 days ago1.0Worse advance I’ve been in to. Always have to wait. Even when no one is in the parking lot or store. I called 3 times and got no answer is why I went in to see if what I ordered had came in. Because I never got a call. Price in Columbia was $3.15 but in Russell Springs it’s $7.95. Wouldn’t change the price. So I’ll go to Columbia and get them. And do my business with Oreillys from now on. This is terrible for a small town with very little customers everytime I go there. That may be the reason. FYI I have never called any other parts store and had to wait so many times then go there 5 minutes from my house and nobody is there but still have to wait. In a small town service is all you have to do to get a repeat customer. Sad it really is!!!

The men were all to busy chatting in the back with their buddies at the side counter (all 4 of them) to come and assist me while I stood at the front counter. They knew I was standing there, they acknowledged my presence by saying, "be with you in a moment" and 5 minutes later, I'm still standing there and now I know all about their upcoming weekend plans. Which are apparently more important than selling car parts. I left and went to O'Rillys Auto Parts. When I got back to the garage with the parts, I am telling my husband and our friend (who is also a mechanic in Eli) said they did the same thing to him a month ago and he also left. So you have lost 2 customers in less than 30 days that buy a substantial amount of car parts from your store. All so that your employees can have social hour while on the clock. I'd be checking your cameras today around 12:30 and you can see for yourself. I had on black pants and a red top. Drove a Red GMC truck.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
