- SSSavannah SageserMar 26, 20261.0I got my oil changed and made it 5 minutes down the road to find that I didn’t have any brakes and had to circle a parking lot with my 11 month old baby in the backseat until I could slow down enough to hit my emergency brake. With brake fluid in a giant puddle underneath my car the manager and tech that came to look said it was the AC dripping NOT brake fluid even though putting the pedal all the way to the floor board didn’t stop my car in the slightest and myself and my baby both could have died. But of course even though the person who changed my oil filter, which is directly next to the brake line, said it was her very first one doing an oil change unassisted, it’s just a crazy coincidence that my brakes go out immediately after having my oil changed. Because they “don’t touch the brake lines.” I will never be back even though I’ve used Valvoline for years. Thanks a lot!
