- SGStephanie Lynn GillMay 12, 20231.0ONLY THE MADISONVILLE STORE. This isn't This particular store makes all the other others look bad. I went in for license tag bolts. Had 3 separate purchases until I got it right. They knew what I needed but in no way helped. I should've been offered to return what they originally pointed me to and exchange for the right item. Also I asked them to look up some bulbs for my car and a type of key for my boyfriend's. They said they had none, for either request, and they wouldn't order the parts. Because they had no option to order them. (Parts store. Go figure.) You're better off going and making the drive to Hopkinsville location. They are amazing there. Or just go to Walmart so you can get better service. And that's saying something!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
