- JVJuan VegaSep 9, 20253.0Had to have AC expansion valve replaced due to refrigerant leak. Not a fun job since the dash needs to be pulled. Lots of labor for this job. They suggested replacing the heater core at the same time. Good call on their part. Part of the process is replacing the receiver dryer which is located in front of the right front tire behind the fender liner. The AC was fixed and works well. We didn’t notice when we picked up the car, but noticed some time later that a large portion of the fender liner had been cut out. We took the car back and they said it couldn’t have been them. I’ve maintained this car for the last 2+ years. I’d know if the fender liner was cut. The gentleman there said that he would call around to see if they could source one at, perhaps a junk yard. He never called us back. I don’t trust people easily. This sort of nonsense is a deal breaker for me. We won’t be going back. Three stars because the AC is working. Minus 2 stars because of the damaged fender liner and not following thru with a phone call.
