I am trying to move my daughter into college 8 hours away and am a recent widow. Made reservation for minivan and received confirmation email/paperwork. After taking Uber home from airport enterprise location that cost me over $40 because they don’t accept debit cards or virtual credit cards. This was never disclosed online or confirmation. (This initial reservation was made thru Costco)
Made reservation with Westport location online. They called me 10 min afterwards and said they have an empty lot. 3rd attempt was here and I physically called as I was directed to by the Westport guy and she confirmed they did have one minivan. Awesome. Asked me to be there by 4. I leave immediately. 10 min later I get ANOTHER call. They don’t have it. I got a bland apology then he hung up on me. I will never recommend or rent thru enterprise again. A wasted afternoon, stress, uber fees, had to cancel my daughter’s last outing together (for nothing), and now scramble to figure out what we’re going to do. If you don’t have the inventory, don’t allow the booking!! Simple. Y’all are really ruining people’s days.
