WITHOUT making you aware, nor requesting your permission; Blue Collar Automotive Repair shares your private vehicle service records with CarFax (probably sells it to them, I don't know). I had an oil change completed on my car (while I waited at the shop), and at no time did anyone from this company ask permission, or inform me that a data aggregation corporation like CarFax was being given my private information (not only about my vehicle, but about myself as well; address, phone, email, etc). Several days after getting my oil change, I received an email from CarFax requesting me to setup "your FREE ACCESS to your CARFAX Car Care account & CARFAX REPORT" for as long as you own your car because my service repair work had been given to them from the Blue Collar Automotive Repair Shop.
