Don't take your car here. Brought my car in because the driver's side tie rod needed to be replaced back in 2023. Fast forward to today and I'm getting my oil changed at my regular mechanic and I ask them to check my suspension because I'm hearing a clunking sound. Turns out the driver's side tie rod needed to be changed because it was still the factory one. Apparently the good folks at Tire Discounters charged me for a full tie rod replacement l, but all they did was tighten up the old one

I had new top of the line tires installed here less than a year ago and returned with a concern about slipping during rainy starts. On my first visit, it was a dry day. Alignment and tread were checked and I was told everything looked fine. I asked if someone could drive the vehicle to better understand what I was experiencing and was told to return on a rainy day so it could be evaluated properly. I did exactly that. When I returned during wet conditions, I was told no one was available to look at it. Instead, I was told it may be “the way you’re driving it” and that the tires aren’t meant to “take off like Formula One.” While I understand there are mechanical factors involved, the phrasing felt dismissive rather than helpful. Front desk interactions during multiple visits have felt consistently unfriendly and lacking in professionalism. Overall, the issue remains unresolved and the customer experience has been very disappointing.

I brought my daughter's car in for some needed repairs, and the guys here at my local Tire Discounters location were more than fair with me. I have mechanical experience, and had already priced the parts need to do the job. I had a set price limit in my head. I had already visited my local Ken Towery Auto Center, and the quoted a price far above what I had in mind, and wouldn't budge. This was my reason for visiting. The guys here were super nice, and said they would do everything possible to get me in the range I was expecting. Ultimately, for a tire repair, a synthetic oil change, and coil pack/spark plug replacement, they quoted not much over $500. They actually performed some services for free to get me to the range I was looking for. For that reason, I will tip up to $600. The price at the other guys was well over $700.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tire Discounters

How do I know if I need an alignment?

The #1 cause of uneven or rapid tire wear is misalignment. Your vehicle also may pull to one side or feel "loose" when steering, and you might even observe a drop in fuel economy. Alignment is critical to tire life and vehicle safety. In fact, if you install new tires on a misaligned vehicle, some manufacturers won't even honor your tire warranty. Everyday driving, potholes, hard turns, and sudden stops, gradually knock your wheels out of alignment. This wear is natural, but it can quickly chew through your tires. That's why Tire Discounters includes a FREE alignment ($129.99 value) when you purchase 4 tires installed. It's just another way we help you get more life (and more value) out of your tires.

How do I get a free alignment?

At Tire Discounters, when you purchase any 4 tires with installation, you get a FREE alignment. A 4 wheel alignment is valued at $129.99, and comes with a 12 month warranty.
