I live about 30 minutes away, but was in Lexington for my daughter’s first chorus performance nearby at the Lexington Legends ballpark during the Festival of Lights. Since we were about a half an hour early, my wife nudged me to go to her favorite coffee spot nearby (Dutch Bros.). Upon leaving the parking lot back on to New Circle Road, we picked up a nasty sized bolt in a tire. Thankfully Ken Towery’s was 500 feet away. It was both fortunate and unfortunate that they were open for like 10 more minutes on a Sunday night. The team there put my night ahead of their own, and got me patched up quickly, and so I didn’t have to miss the performance. I didn’t catch the names of the guys working, but I couldn’t be more ecstatic for the amazing and quick work these guys did to get me back on the road. I feel bad they had to stay late, but I truly appreciate everything they did to help me out.
