Everything went smoothly until I discovered a significant oil leak (the car is regularly serviced). I subsequently took my car to a local shop to investigate the leak. It turned out that the 'new' employee (as the GM informed me) had made an error by failing to position the O-ring correctly on the oil filter canister, which resulted in a substantial loss of oil. I visited a nearby establishment, and they alerted me to the issue. I found that I only had one quart of oil left in the vehicle. I contacted Jiffy Lube almost immediately, and they rectified the situation. Initially, the GM assured me that he would cover the cost of the new oil change (which he did, thank you) as well as the expense for the service they mishandled. However, the GM later went back on his word, stating that only the cost of the new oil change would be reimbursed. This changed after I reached out to corporate and spoke with the District Manager, who resolved the issue. Everyone at this location was quite pleasant; Lilli helped calm me down significantly as I was quite upset. She was very understanding and kind, and I believe she deserves a managerial position. In any case, it was $97 that they were initially reluctant to refund. Fortunately, everything is resolved now.
