    ***Do your research*** I rented a car for a work trip. SIXT seemed to have better options available, they don't. After traveling all day I just wanted to get to my hotel that was over an hour away. There was no line to pick up the keys and straight to the car. The car had a weird smell so I thought maybe it was just from traveling all day or the airport. Upon stopping at Walmart after the airport I decided I would move my bags to the trunk of the car now that it is accessible. Upon opening the trunk I found the source of the smell. Rotting carrots that looked like oatmeal was poured out to help soak up liquids as they rot. I then look around the rest of the car now that it's out in the day light and find scratches and a damaged bumper. Not to mention the 1 year old car with 18k miles has a nice engine rattle as well. I check into my hotel and contact customer service who says they marked the damage and carrots. Today I turn the car in and as I reach my gate I get an email stating the car is damage and requesting my insurance information. This place does not maintain their cars and will nickel and dime you on top of any other thing they can charge you for. It was an extremely terrible experience that a paying customer should not have to deal with. I can still smell the carrots 🤢 save yourself the trouble and go with a reputable company. Or bring a bright light and pull the car into the middle of the parking garage so you can fully inspect the car and reject it before they charge you for their employees negligence. If you rented from them, I hope your day gets better and your trip was not ruined like mine.

    I booked a vehicle in advance. It was only after payment it was revealed that there wasn't After Hours Pickup. SiXT desk closed at 11 PM, my plane landed at 11. Couldn’t get a refund, absolutely horrible company just book with Hertz or any other company that stays open past 11 at CVG.

    I was not informed of a one way fee when I rented a car in Cinci and was returning it to Atlanta. To my surprise, I was charged an additional 900$. Had I known, I would have canceled the reservation and used Hertz who was $1000 cheaper. I have now been fired because of this and Sixt could care less. Welcome to the corporate world. Would avoid sixt entirely as I wont ever use again.

    We prepaid a rental car via Expedia. My husband walked in to pick the car up. As soon as he started talking the lady at the desk had a bad attitude. First they won't accept his visa credit card. He gave her another card, and the. She said because his license was chipped she was afraid to rent him a car. Not that she couldn't rent him a car. We are still fighting the charge for the car that we never got!

    If I can give no stars I would. I was told one price at the counter and saw another price on the website. I felt uneasy but I am in town for work and needed a vehicle immediately. I was charged a lot of money for a car I didn’t even want because I was told sedans are more than suvs that doesn’t make since to me. Then I call today to speak with someone and she was rude and nasty on the phone and was no help to me what so ever. For this to be my first time using you all I will never use again. The staff in the garage area was more friendlier and helpful than anyone else. Being in the customer service field you should want to at least be nice to your customers and turn their frustration into something positive instead of adding fuel to the fire. That is what lead to this review.
