Save yourself the headache and just go to Soapy Joe’s or VIP. We’ve been coming here long enough to know this isn’t a fluke. Their top tier package is supposed to include a wheel clean and shine. It doesn’t work. You’ll finish your wash, walk around the car, and still have to wipe the dust/dirt off your wheels by hand. The dryer also cuts off way too early, so you’re leaving wet every single time. The bigger problem is the damage. We’ve had our wheels, the roof, and the skirts all damaged by their equipment. Filed 2 to 3 claims and lost every single one. Their own internal “investigation” clears them every time without fail. They put the burden of proof entirely on you, as if anyone takes photos of their car before pulling into a car wash. This isn’t just our experience either. Go look at their Google reviews or search them on Facebook. Hundreds of people saying the exact same things. They’ve known about these problems for a long time and have done nothing to fix the equipment or make customers whole. I’ve emailed multiple times at this point and no response. We have a fleet account, too, and they do not care. Just look at what happened in Weaverville, NC. There are better options in town. Use them.

Terrible experience, trying to get a decent carwash and paid for the $18 basic plus. Went through the wash and it barely took anything off the glass. No towels available or spray bottles at the vacuum stations. After we decided to talk to the attendant about the glass still being dirty and having bug smears. The attendant got frustrated and gave us a basic wash one more time. He shook his head as he went into his office. I would recommend a different car wash. Not friendly at all. A car wash should clean the car for the most part. That’s the point of a car wash.

I encourage others to be cautious when using this business. Original Review: I went through this car wash for the third time on March 1, 2026, after signing up for a new membership. My first two visits were great. However, during this third visit, I felt two distinct, hard thumps that were noticeably different from my previous experiences. I did not stop to vacuum afterward and drove straight home. As soon as I got out of my vehicle, I noticed the issue. I attempted to call immediately, but no one answered the phone. I left a message through the app and am currently waiting for a response. For context, my vehicle is a brand-new 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross — completely factory original with no modifications. There were no prior issues before entering this wash. I expect this business to take responsibility, investigate what happened, and resolve this matter promptly and at no cost to me. A reputable company should stand behind its equipment and customer safety. Until this situation is addressed appropriately and ownership is taken, I cannot recommend this location to others. I hope the owner will respond quickly and make this right. Update 1 – Reply to Owner Response Your reply does not reflect what customers actually experience when something goes wrong. The damage occurred during my wash on March 1, 2026. While inside the tunnel I felt two distinct impacts, which had never happened during my previous visits. I drove straight home and immediately discovered the scratches and dent when I got out of the vehicle. I attempted to report the issue immediately by calling the number listed for the location, but no one answered, which required me to drive back to the location in person to complete the incident report and start the claim process. During that visit I also noticed the claim had initially been entered with the wrong date, which raised concerns about the accuracy of the review process. I have since had the vehicle evaluated by a repair shop. Based on their inspection and the photos taken immediately after the wash, they indicated the scratch pattern is consistent with debris becoming caught in a rotating wash brush and being dragged across the panel. I have also requested that the company preserve tunnel camera footage and operational records from the time my vehicle passed through the wash so the situation can be reviewed properly. I am currently waiting for the claim review process to conclude and will update this review once a decision is made. Update 2 The owner’s reply that previously appeared on this review has since been deleted. I kept a screenshot for my records showing that the reply was posted. I understand Google can sometimes hide these as well but this appears like a lack of transparency from the business owner. At this point my claim has been denied and I believe the situation has been handled poorly from start to finish. Based on the communications I have received, it does not appear that the information and documentation I provided were fully considered during the evaluation. I will continue pursuing the available options to resolve the damage to my vehicle and will update this review if the situation changes. Update 3 Zips did eventually accept my claim. It took persistence, following up frequently with facts, and mentioning considering the use of small claims courts with full sincerity. They requested me to sign an agreement that removed their liability and were only going to pay on the first of 2 estimates. I had to refuse this and argue to get them to pay for the repairs after the final invoice was given. They did agree. I also had to repeatedly correct typographical errors related to dates of events as their claims team did not pay attention to these details. After this terrible experience I had I will not be returning to this company or editing this review further.

I just paid $24 for the worst wash I’ve ever received. At the end I thought there had to be more of the cycle to go because every single window was so foggy with water stains.
