    While changing the breaks on my truck I thought i had a slightly bent caliper bracket but wasn't sure if it was the bracket or the caliper so I went to your store to purchase a bracket to see if that fixed the problem. My plan was if that didn't fix it I would return it and get the caliper. The gentleman who waited on me at the counter was a nice guy and treated me very well. I asked him twice if the part could be returned if it was not the problem to which he replied "yes that's not a problem" both times. After taking the part home and finding that it was not the issue I returned it in less than one hour. He did the credit and went to the back to get my old caliper bracket so i could have it back (I had given it to them as a core). After being gone for a few minutes he returned and said he was mistaken and they could not return the bracket. of course I pointed out that I had asked him before I bought it and he said "I know and I'm sorry but the manager won't allow me to return it". I asked to speak to the manager and he again went back while I stood there in front of other people and was expecting to have a conversation with the manager. He returned and told me that she was not willing to speak to me! I wasn't really upset until this point. Your manager will not come out and speak to customer? That left me standing there embarrassed and having to pay Stick again for the part he had already returned. I have worked at a retail store for 35 years including manager roles in two stores. I have delt with many upset customers in that time. The situation I found myself in at your store could have been delt with so easily if only the manager would have given me the courtesy of coming out and speaking to me. I have followed their complaints process for over two weeks now and initially they emailed me back pretty quick but the system is designed to ware you down and make you go away. The district manager is also unwilling to speak to customers. I included him in my first email and never got a response from him. The last correspondence I had they asked me if I would like a follow up call to which I said yes and gave them my contact information. Still no response. Conclusion, Advance Auto is either not willing to speak to their customers who have issues or they simply don't care. Either way its sad. I have intentionally left out the names of the employee's and the district manager involved. I gave all information to the customer care people at Advance. I sincerely hope they find the courage to ask the store manager why she would not speak with me that day and correct her behavior.

    THIS PLACE DOES NOT HONOR WARRANTY!!! I bought an alternator that was just a bad part from a different advanced. I even called to make sure I could take it to a different store to exchange it for one that works. I took the alternator out of the car and everything brought it to this store and they told me the warranty was expired after 45 days?!! I had the receipt that stated it was a lifetime warranty. They also proceeded to tell me if it has been installed in the car already the warranty is immediately voided. That made no sense but I wasn’t wanting to get in an argument so just took it to the one across town. I was in and out in less than 5 mins with the new alternator that I exchanged. Absolutely ridiculous but if you’re wanting to return a bad part … DO NOT COME TO THIS ADVANCED !!

    Very friendly knowledgeable people that enjoy helping people. Had my battery tested,..good recommendation for a replacement and installed in under 30 mins. And honestly the last 10 minutes was just me and the guy chatting and conversations.
