- APAndrew PalmerJul 30, 20251.0DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I went at the beginning of July and had my oil changed there. They got a piece of plastic hose stuck inside where the dipstick goes. They sent it to KD Auto in Lawrenceburg to get it fixed. Two days later I picked it up. Mind you I only use this particular car to take my wife to her Doctors Appointments. In the course of a few eeeks o out about 600 miles on it. One day last week I got a low oil pressure light when I took her to Mount Sterling 60 miles away. When I checked the oil, there was none on the stick. I had it towed 60 miles back to the house and went and grabbed some oil for it. It took 3 quarts to fill it up. The manager came by my house and decided to have it sent to KD Auto again. KD Auto told me over the phone that the car wasn’t leaking oil and that there were NO OIL LEAKS. So if it’s not leaking oil now, how did three quarts disappear from it within 600 miles and why did I not Eder smell oil, see smoke, or anything else? My theory is KD never put all the oil back in that was supposed to go in it and then I drove it almost 600 miles three quarts low on oil. KD wanted to to an oil pressure test and charge me $225 because Valvolije decided they were done and that was it. My car was fine until I took it to Valvoline and they broke a piece of plastic off in it, then sent it to KD Auto to get “fixed.” Don’t trust this place and tell everybody you know. If giving this place ZERO stars were an option, I would.
