I’ve had good experiences at this location before, which makes this recent visit all the more disappointing. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation — a visit that was supposed to take 45–60 minutes. After waiting two hours, I checked in and was told the service hadn’t even started because a vehicle was stuck on their lift. I completely understand that issues happen, and the employee assured me my car would be started soon. Another hour went by, and my car hadn’t moved from where I parked it. I went to the counter assuming it was finished, only to find out it still hadn’t been touched. At that point, I was understandably frustrated. No one had come over to update me or offer solutions, even though I’d been sitting in the waiting area the whole time. Because of that lack of communication, I missed another important appointment. Still, I tried to stay understanding. The supervisor came over and told me they’d cover the cost of service to make up for the delay — a gesture I genuinely appreciated. When my car was finally ready, I asked the employee directly whether both the oil change and tire rotation were completed. She looked me in the eye and confirmed that everything was done. I believed her. Fast forward six weeks. My wife tells me that the car is hydroplaning while driving with our 15‑month‑old son. When I inspected the tires, I realized they had never been rotated. They were worn down unevenly and completely unsafe. I took the vehicle to another Tire Discounters location for a second opinion, and the technician confirmed without a doubt — the tires had not been rotated in months. I get that mistakes happen, but this goes beyond slow service. Comping a service doesn’t mean you get to skip doing it. I would have rather paid full price and had peace of mind knowing my car was properly maintained. Now I’m facing the cost of new tires, an alignment, and potentially more. Everyone I interacted with was polite, and I know people can have off days. But when you work on vehicles — and people rely on them for safety — this kind of oversight is unacceptable. I gave the store and their support team multiple chances to make things right, and nothing was done. I’m leaving this review so others are aware of what happened to me. I truly hope this location learns from it, because short‑term shortcuts can lead to long‑term losses — for both customers and the business.

Good people good crew there. I had four big tires put on my truck expecting to take half the day. I was pleasantly surprised it was done in half the time I expected. They were nice and had a professional manner that you don't see in most places.

Well I sent my girlfriend to get two front tires put on. Only two. Front wheel drive. She took my credit card and she told them when she arrived promptly at 730am - just the “two” front tires as referenced in the online quote I did and appointment scheduling. What I got was four tires that we couldnt afford but of course she wasnt paying attention and they whipped up her invoice and swiped the card. Not sure who to be more upset with but what a crock. Thanks tire discounters for the sleight of hand. We needed “two” and the online quote said “two” - not sure how or why you got four out of that. I think I know why. Kinda ridiculous but you’ll have that in NKY….

Can not speak highly enough about the team. They were polite and professional and fixed my car quickly and I was able to get back on the road and on with my day.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tire Discounters

How do I know if I need an alignment?

The #1 cause of uneven or rapid tire wear is misalignment. Your vehicle also may pull to one side or feel "loose" when steering, and you might even observe a drop in fuel economy. Alignment is critical to tire life and vehicle safety. In fact, if you install new tires on a misaligned vehicle, some manufacturers won't even honor your tire warranty. Everyday driving, potholes, hard turns, and sudden stops, gradually knock your wheels out of alignment. This wear is natural, but it can quickly chew through your tires. That's why Tire Discounters includes a FREE alignment ($129.99 value) when you purchase 4 tires installed. It's just another way we help you get more life (and more value) out of your tires.

How do I get a free alignment?

At Tire Discounters, when you purchase any 4 tires with installation, you get a FREE alignment. A 4 wheel alignment is valued at $129.99, and comes with a 12 month warranty.
