I went in on April 6th for a routine oil change and tire rotation, and immediately after leaving, my car started jerking and running poorly—something it had never done before. I took my car to another shop to have it checked, and they discovered that Valvoline never put the dipstick back in my car. That’s a basic step, and completely unacceptable. When I went back to Valvoline to get my dipstick, they told me they didn’t have it and would have to “watch the cameras.” Even more frustrating, when I asked to speak with a manager or someone in charge, I was told they “don’t have the number.” That level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is unbelievable.
