- KPKatlyn PhelpsFeb 22, 20261.0I stopped by tonight at 8:05 (they close at 8 on Sundays, found that out once I got there) hoping someone might be able to quickly scan my car since my engine light had just come on. I completely understand that I arrived after closing and wasn’t expecting service, I simply knocked to ask. Unfortunately, the employee who didn’t even bother coming to the door responded by SCREAMING at me instead of just calmly explaining they were closed and unable to help. I respect business hours and would have totally understood a polite “we’re closed” but being spoken to that way was really unnecessary and disappointing. Customer service matters, even at closing time. Would not recommend this place.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
