Lewis Street Glass is Kansas’s oldest glass shop, serving the Wichita area since 1919. We specialize in automotive glass services, residential glasswork and commercial glasswork. Over the years, we have expanded to include new construction, remodeling and glass repair.
Our first delivery truck was a trustworthy Ford Model T, and we take the same approach to our glass work today – proven quality. At Lewis Street Glass we’re committed to the same principles we had when we opened our doors – integrity, craftsmanship and service. Everything was smooth over the phone and scheduled an assessment, and the guy who went to check is super professional and nice. Communication: They said i would get a call in a day or 2 to give me a quote. NO CALLS for days. I have to follow up and call them after a week only to find out that they emailed the quote. The quote is close to premium IMO but I understand if you want the best service you gotta pay. So i went and scheduled it. Oh, btw you have to pay half of the quote to book just for everyone to know. One bad apple: There's this one specific lady (older) who's constantly rude and inconsistent on giving updates and information on the TIME and DATE. I have it scheduled last week of april, and she said it'll be the 3rd or 4th week of may. It'll be installed. I WAITED for that call again, but no call back. I have to call them again for an update. Timeline installation inconsistency: When i called, a younger lady answered, she really genuinely cared and honest. She laid out that im scheduled for last week of june, which is a month late, and I was told that i was scheduled. It was upsetting, but the young lady was patient and kind. We ended up scheduling it. Installation: The guys were spot on on the time. They were at my house prepared and nice and pleasant. It was a 30-minute or less installation. One thing I noticed is they don't clean up after the work is done. You guys should improve on that, I've seen reviews that have the same experience with tiny broken glasses and debris not being cleaned. Rude old lady: After the installation, i got a call from your company, and it's that same rude old lady over the phone early in the morning while i was sleeping calling me 3x nonstop. Just to ask if she can bill me on the same card Ive provided her. I said can you call me back noontime cause I am still in bed and wanting to sleep more. She just said ok and hang up. Guess what? No follow up call again from you guys. And she just go ahead and charged it on my card. Lol. I understand that you guys are packed on your work. I get that. I am just laying out my experience on you company. I am not even sure if this window you've installed is under warranty cause I wasn't informed well enough to know. Goodluck!
