    We had a lovely experience at the enterprise at the Wichita airport, once we got where we needed to go. Very speedy! However, make note the address shown on Google will take you to their old location which is now Beechcraft. Enter their parking lot at your own risk.

    Hi, I’m writing this message about rental agreement # 866866916 from Wichita Airport. This was the most horrible car rental experience of my life. The first attempt at renting a car (different rental agreement number) started by the guy at the counter wrongly telling me I couldn’t book a full size SUV one way, even though that was an option available online to reserve, and then putting me in a car that was too small, as well as many years old with around 45,000 miles. I did not feel comfortable taking this car on a long drive so I brought it back the next day. Then I start a new reservation which is the one I’m referring to in this email # 866866916 and picked up an SUV that was also many years old, 50,000+ miles with a cracked windshield. Not only this but the car violently shook while driving and pulled heavily to the left side. This attempt at getting a rental car was even worse and there was no way I could drive it to my planned destination, so I took the car back to the airport 7 hours later. In the meantime I called customer service and told them about the problems I had with this location and another recent experience, and he told me he would put in a request for the manager at Wichita to call me about it. I dropped off the car at the airport shortly after and explained what had happened to the guy working at the airport location at the time, and he did not even feel comfortable closing the reservation and told me he would have the manager reach out to me. I never heard back from the manager at all and I have no way to contact that location directly. These problems messed up all my trip plans and even forced me to pay for a flight back instead of driving because I couldn’t even give me a decent, safe vehicle. Even the guy at the airport who I talked to understood they were giving me their worst and oldest cars since it was a one way rental. Not only time was wasted in this experience but tons of money to catch another flight same day and Uber’s as well. Pending charges from Wichita went away for a while and then came back 11 days later charging me $155.59 for this 7 hour trip faulty vehicle that clearly had problems and safety issues. I’ve had many other similar problems with Enterprise in recent years but they were all resolved either speaking to customer service over the phone or from the locations themselves. I’ve tried both those things and was about to post a bad review and saw this email mentioned many times for people to contact with all the information recorded. To me this experience was completely unacceptable and the fact that the manager was asked to contact me many times and didn’t, and then proceeded to charge the full amount weeks later, when even the person who I dropped it off with wouldn’t do that, is beyond frustrating. Please let me know if there is anything else that can be done about this situation, otherwise I will never want to rent from Enterprise again. (Also I was never even sent an email with the reservation closed out either)

    My experience at the Wichita airport pick up location was excellent. Very smooth and I loved the car. However, my experience at the Saint Ann (St. Louis) location where I returned the vehicle was anything but smooth. The branch manager, Brad, was closing out my ticket at the St. Ann location and all but accused me of somehow causing hail damage to the top of the vehicle. There were three very small dings. Not to mention, I had only had the car for one night, and there was no hail in the region whatsoever. He explained to me that he had to report it because otherwise he would be held responsible for the damage and that it was my responsibility because the previous branch had not reported the damage. After a lot of arguing, he wrote it up (also, I had damage waiver coverage). The next day I got a call from the Wichita branch manager, Blaine, and he informed me that the damage had already in fact been reported. I do not recommend using the St. Ann location. The branch manager seem to be trying to flex his muscles and certainly did not uphold Enterprise principles. I’ve always had a good experience at Enterprise, but this branch location at Saint Ann, MO was terrible.
