- RRRey RamirezJul 3, 20251.0I took my 2019 Silverado in as we were having a short on the 02 sensor wiring. We were charged for full diagnostics eventhough we had already indicated where the issue was- which was okay with us of course. Throughout our experience they kept adding wiring issues- on the same 02 sensor wiring that we had already indicated was the issue. We paid over $1400 and the conclusion was that they wanted more time for that one line. They worked on the same wire that they later charged to continue to fix. I was also told it was only a temporary repair that they made. Anyhow, I took it to the 'Dumb Wire Guy' on 13th St. and he found we had a loose 02 sensor fuse in the fuse box- took him no time. I don't question Central Auto Repair and Electric for their professionalism but I do for their incompetence and integrity. I called in to share my frustration and was simply dismissed. They charge a hefty hourly rate and don't deliver competence or results, rather, they look to add on more time and take customers' money. A shop with integrity would make things right and accept responsibility for what they were paid for- my talk with them today proved otherwise. If you're looking for competent Auto Electric repairs go elsewhere.
