I will stay away from this one. I rented a vehicle for 1 day on Saturday with return on Sunday. The guy that worked that day told me I should return to the airport which wasn't the option for me (seriously? budget confirmed my reservation but then trying to get me return it to another location?). I asked if they had a drop box for the keys, he said Yes. Returned on time clean and full of gas. I was charged for 2 days instead of one. If you can't end a reservation on Sunday, then you shouldn't be allowing such reservations! Another problem was with toll road charges. He said I should add the vehicle to my Kansas Turnpike account. I asked if I could do it after travel , he said yes. I tried to add it to my account as soon as I came back but it was impossible to do. Called Turnpike authority twice just a day after the travel but they told me it could only be done before the travel because the vehicle had a transponder from another state. Later I spoke with Valerie who worked at the Ridge rd counter, she told me the same - to add vehicle to my account after the travel (meaning their info isn't accurate). Budget charges hefty fees if they get your toll road charge on their account. Valerie gave me a phone number for the managers but these people on the phone do everything to avoid talking about the problems you had. Its impossible to talk to anyone. After trying to talk to someone several times, I left a message for the manager Adam Taylor but her ignored it. I submitted a complaint ticket on Budget site, we will see what happen. If they don't refund me for the second day, I will file a dispute with my credit card. Only 1 day rental yields significant unexpected expenses. AVOID!

Read all signage carefully
Way too expensive ("Budget" ...ha!). I had to speak with two different people to reserve the car and the price was different between the two people. The second one, of course, was higher. The options were very limited and unlimited and not really helpful. Same as with all the companies in this terrible industry.
And as with all rental car companies it's impossible to talk to anyone at the actual location and everyone has a heavy foreign accent; difficult to understand.

I would in fact do zero stars if possible. The lady at the counter was rude, snide, and not helpful. We have a car with issues right now and needed to go to Dallas to pick up a kid at the airport. We booked it a few days out and then called to confirm it was booked, she wasn't polite on the phone. We had reserved a Toyota Camry so it would be comfy and have plenty of room for our luggage, as well as get good mileage. This is the first time trying this location, we normally use the airport. Since we were using a debit card we had to show a utility bill and our full coverage insurance, we did, had it ready. I had a declaration page to show the full coverage, she said she didn't want to see it and had to call. She proceeded to call, went through the automated system where it told our comprehensive and coverage amounts, she then insists on talking to an agent, finally gets through, asks about our coverage amounts and comprehensive, argues with the agent on the phone about needing to know our coverage (which she already heard twice) then she got frustrated and said whatever good enough and hung up. Then she tells us she doesnt have a camry, makes so much sense to let us reserve that car without one in stock. So she puts us in a Hyundai Kona, so we got downgraded from a full size sedan with mileage in the 40s-50s to a sub-compact SUV with mileage in the 20's. She also said that she could save us money by having us return the car an hour earlier, because we would pay for one less day, so we agreed. It was uncomfortable, had a tiny tank so we had to stop way more, and was barely big enough for our luggage. We called Budget to complain, they didn't seem to care, did the not my problem runaround, talked to her when we brought the car back, she acted like she had no idea what we were talking about. We brought up getting a refund since we brought the car back an hour early and had prepaid. She also didn't seem to remember that or care, finally to get us out the door she said it would give us money back and to call corporate if we had issues. We called and they said not their problem since we prepaid (so she needs to stop saying she can save people money and changing their reservations) and then they hung up on us when we wanted to escalate the call. We were calm and respectful to the lady and the people on the phone, they were not. I would absolutely never use this location again, she was misleading and rude, and so were the customer service people on the phone.

I would not recommend this location based on my recent experience. I prepaid online for a Toyota Camry, but when I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the agent changed my return time by an hour (from noon to 11 a.m.), telling me it would “save me money” and that the extra day I paid for would be refunded when I returned the vehicle. That refund—$44.78—never happened.
On top of that, I was given a Hyundai Kona instead of the Camry I reserved. These vehicles are not even remotely comparable in size, comfort, or fuel efficiency. The Kona got around 22–25 mpg for the entire trip, while a Camry gets up to 50 mpg. It also had far less space, both in the cabin and trunk. I didn’t have time to swap vehicles because we were already delayed at the counter—where the agent insisted on verifying my insurance over the phone even though I provided valid proof of coverage. The automated system listed my coverage, but she still waited to speak to a representative, which took a long time.
When I returned the vehicle, I was again told I’d be refunded for the extra day. I received my deposit back but not the $44.78. I called customer service and was told I couldn’t be refunded because I prepaid. When I asked if I could get a credit for a future rental, they said they'd escalate it—but then I was disconnected and never heard back.
I overpaid, received a lower-grade vehicle than promised, spent more in gas, had an uncomfortable ride, was misinformed by staff, and was ultimately hung up on when trying to get resolution. This is unacceptable
