- SSSamuelDec 26, 20251.0BE wary of the windshields they install; lasted less than a full calender year. I really did not want to write this the day after Christmas. However, I want to give an informed experience I had at this location. I had paid for a full windshield replacement back in January of 2025 at this location. They were the only place avaliable that was able to recieve me same day for a crack that spread through the entire length of the windshield in 24 hours at that time. However, during this last week, we had a 14-18" crack suddenly develope overnight as we slept. It has been 30-50° F the last 3-4 days. We took our vehicle back to the same location for warranty replacement as this windshield did not even last a full 365 days under normal wear and tear conditions. I tried to explain to the head technician that this is clearly a defect in the glass if it fails with not even one full year of normal use and driving. My wife has never exceeded 70mph as we have children. The lady in question upon looking at the crack for no less than 5 seconds determined that this was an impact. The white spot she pointed out was normal mineral buildup that I wiped away with my finger and she said she would not be replacing this under warranty, even though there is no impact fracture along the entire Crack. It is smooth with a razor blade all the way down. I contacted safelite customer support and said they would reschedule an appointment at the same location where the first technician denied my warranty. I would HIGHLY advise against using this place for any and all windshield repairs, as the quality of the glass did not even hold up for one single calender year of normal driving conditions and wear and tear. I honestly wish I could have trusted safelite to honor there manufactor warranty for what is clearly a very rare defect, but still a glass defect in the manufactoring process. I will no longer be spending my money with them for any future repairs and have already scheduled and fixed my windshield with a different company that will hopefully stand behind the quality of their windshield vendors. I am adding a picture of the windshield in question. If the owner responds to this review, I have all the pictures to prove that this is not an impact fracture. To all reading this review, you have to click on the picture to enlarge it to see the full crack if your on your phone. I really wish I could have continued business with safelite, but I genuinely feel ripped off.

Windshields get harder and harder to replace auto manufacturers keep over engineering their cars. The Safelite technicians are on top of all of it and do a fantastic job. We bought my wife's car used. She would often think that one of her windows wasn't closed all the way because of wind noise. Drove her batty trying to figure out where it was coming from sometimes. Turns out the windshield had been previously replaced by another company and poorly. After the Safelite technician was done, no more road noise. Ecstatic.
